Why copper is the new black: Hot new looks for 2015
After years of white interiors, lots of chrome and angular design, the new look for 2015 is coming back to more natural textures, colours, materials and organic curves. Copper is making a comeback and looking to be the colour of the season, with a range of softer hues and organic shapes coming to the forefront of design. The trick in decorating is to use a lot of stone, timber, metals, materials that give a texture that you just want to reach out and touch. "Think matte-finis

Bring the vineyards to your home with these entry features
These cellar doors added a real feature to this East Perth home. Bringing a touch of Margaret River, the sculptured iron and timber look of this wine feature is truly inspirational. The client loved her new doors and the way they allowed a feature showcase shelf for the middle of the cellar - such as glasses or a decanter. This grape vine is a versatile design and can be adapted for balustrades, wall hangings, outdoor sculptures, gates, doors or even just a decorative pull h

Jalmer created everything from juliette balconies to balustrades, framing for privacy screens using stained glass infills, pool fencing and gates and even a spiral staircase. Adding to the property's charm is a snake console table, an origina

'Somewhere down south' console sold at gallery
'Somewhere down south' has just been sold by Boranup Gallery in July 2014. A sculptural piece, the table reflects the life that goes on beneath the tranquil waters of the Blackwood River and its offshoots. The frog peacefully sits atop a lily pad, unaware of the lurking trout foraging among the submerged branches and weed. Wayne Jeffery built this piece for the 2011 'Ore Inspired' exhibition at York Mill Gallery. Wayne is a iron sculpture artist, based in Byford, Western A
