'Somewhere down south' console sold at gallery

July 15, 2014

'Somewhere down south' has just been sold by Boranup Gallery in July 2014.  A sculptural piece, the table reflects the life that goes on beneath the tranquil waters of the Blackwood River and its offshoots.  The frog peacefully sits atop a lily pad, unaware of the lurking trout foraging among the submerged branches and weed.

Wayne Jeffery built this piece for the 2011 'Ore Inspired' exhibition at York Mill Gallery.  Wayne is a iron sculpture artist, based in Byford, Western Australia.
