Landing of the blue wrens

Wayne Jeffery has just released a new range of blue wren homewares which are now on display at John Miller Collective Gallery in Margaret River.

The new range includes serviette holders, desk sets (both large and small, sculptures and even just a single bird. A small test run of a few pieces sold out within a few weeks, showing the demand for such items.

"I just love the vibrancy and energy of the blue wren, and just can't help stopping and enjoying watching whenever the birds make an appearance in our garden. I love working with the blue and the copper colours of the female and creating scenes among the Marri leaves," said Wayne Jeffery, metal artist.

All the works are made from recycled steel.

The new Jalmer showroom is currently under renovation, but the play is to launch it in line with the Open Studios Art Trail in September with the calendar of Spring into Armadale events. The showroom open hours will be published soon.

Items are now available for sale from our online shop.
