A great opportunity to see inside the creative studios of 40 artists operating in the Armadale Hills region, is by getting on the Open Studios Art Trail.
The event starts this Thursday 8th September and operates through to the Sunday 11th. It then opens up the following Thursday 15th to Sunday 18th. Galleries are open from 10am to 4pm daily.
So that's 8 days to take advantage of this rare, intimate opportunity to see artists at work, look through their galleries and find out what makes them tick.
There are 20 locations, so make a day of it. On the arts trail you will discover an extraordinary array of beautiful paintings, watercolours, pastels, textiles, couture, ceramics and stoneware, steel sculptures, fine wood turning, Bibbullmum art, photography and brilliant bear making. Our artists look forward to your patronage and we wish you a happy trail through our much-loved Armadale arts community.
The Jalmer Gallery and Giftshop is on the 2016 trail, and we have a full range of Wayne Jeffery creations on display, from homewares to desksets, sculpture to decorative doors, wallhangings and blue wrens galore! We also will have a fairy garden, and other artist treasures on display as well.
Make sure you make the Jalmer Gallery one of your stops on your art trail and enjoy a tea or coffee while you are here.
